Your Private Pilot Licence is the next level towards your flying experience. It allows you to fly at your leisure; you’ll now have the freedom to explore other towns and islands throughout Australia.
If you have reached 17 years, we will coach you through the theory and assist you to complete your flight training. You will soon gain the aeronautical experience to meet the requirements. Pass the PPL theory exam, flight test for the licence and category rating and you are well on your way.
Are you 18 years of age and chasing a professional career in Aviation? We can assist you with the tools, skills and aeronautical experience you need to gain your Commercial Pilot Licence. Your CPL can unlock the door to becoming an Airline Pilot and will authorise you to work as a Charter Pilot, and/or diversify to Agricultural Crop Dusting, Aerial Surveying, Mustering, Air Ambulance operations and more.
Our skilled team of instructors are here to assist you, with the Aviation College offering an integrated or non-integrated course requiring 150 or 200 hours flight time respectively. Either way you will enjoy the wide open views of far North Queensland as you rocket your way through cross-country flying, instrument tuition and advanced aeronautical knowledge.
You will learn all about flight rules, air law, meteorology, aerodynamics, navigation, human factors, operation performance, planning, and aircraft systems, after which you will be eligible to sit the theory examination and pass the flight test.
